Midnight is the sweetheart of the family. She is about 10 years old, and has been the best big sister to Tas and Sasha. She is an extremely overweight version of a black golden retriever. I got her from the pound when I was in 7th grade, and she has been the peace keeper of the family ever since. She always listens and never gets into any trouble.
Tas Tas on the other hand, is the complete opposite. He has been a handful since the day I got him! That story is quite interesting actually. I lived in Ecuador during the summer of 2007. One day, while we were touring Quito, we came across a man with two puppies on the street. One thing led to another, and soon we were holding them, and the guy was gone. We named one Tas Tas (its a saying from the orphanage meaning tsk tsk) and the other Chancita (which means little girl pig in Spanish). Chanchita went to live with a friend, and Tas made the long journey to the US with me.
As soon as he got to my house, he started causing problems. First of all, he didn't come alone. He brought a bunch of little Ecuadorian fleas with him. Great! We had to disinfect our entire house, including poor Midnight. Second, he was completely grumpy with anyone except for me. The first impression my family got was of him biting my poor mom! As soon as we got him in the house, he began to chew and tear things up. He even ate the wall. I can just picture Midnight sitting there watching and thinking "you're gonna get in trouble!"
Well anyways....that didn't last for long. He
That leaves me to Sasha. She is my little kitty. I got her last summer with my boyfriend and one thing led to another...fights ensued, and pretty soon, she was my "problem."
I would be a very sad girl with out these guys!
I love your blog Jen! It's fun one!
